Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to install and wire shelter systems, read schematics and blueprints, and perform soldering when certified. The role requires 3+ years in electrical assembly, IPC/J-STD-610/WHMA-620, and basic hand tools. Occasional travel may be required.

The position emphasizes safe work practices and adherence to quality processes, with opportunities on shop floor and field sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of on-the-job experience in electrical assembly.
• IPC J-STD, IPC-610 and IPC/WHMA-620 certifications required.
• Must supply basic hand tools.
• Vocational degree in electronics preferred.
• Technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, locate, and install wiring circuits, harnesses, and accessories in shelter systems.
• Install large wire connectors, multi-pin connectors, and fiber optic cables.
• Cut, label, strip, and crimp wires of all sizes.
• When certified, perform soldering operations.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust tools and equipment for electrical operations.
• Use test equipment to troubleshoot and verify wiring installations.
• Travel domestically and internationally regularly and on short notice as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
