Job summary

Kurita Europe GmbH in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an EHS Manager - Field to lead all field EHS personnel supporting construction, field service, and project activities. You will standardize field EHS practices, coach staff, and partner with site leaders, contractors, and customers to ensure safe execution and compliance with regulations.

The role requires a strong EHS background, 7+ years in construction safety, OSHA certifications, and the ability to influence across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a closely related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible EHS experience in construction/field environments.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required; OSHA 510 certification required; CSP/CHST preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and ability to influence across multiple sites and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop all field EHS personnel across projects and locations.
• Establish a standardized field EHS approach aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with site leaders, contractors, and customers to integrate EHS into planning and execution.
• Provide EHS leadership during pre-construction, mobilization, start-up, active construction, and closeout.
• Ensure field teams conduct job hazard analyses, pre-task plans, inspections, audits, and follow-up corrective actions.
