Job summary

Liberty University is seeking a Field Support professional to assist in administering field education placements for Social Work students. You will interview students, assess needs, and match them with suitable field placements while collaborating with the Gate team.

The role involves coordinating with multiple departments, onboarding community agencies, negotiating contracts, maintaining partnerships, and training staff on field education policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of administrative experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with the Social Work profession.
• Familiarity with Canvas LMS.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong technical competency.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in event planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student interviews to assess needs and interests and match with placements.
• Coordinate with Gate team to assess readiness and placement strengths.
• Review and approve placement proposals and related documentation.
• Maintain inter- and intra-departmental communication about proposals.
• Recruit, process, and onboard community agencies for placements.
• Negotiate contracts with agencies to meet LU requirements.
• Represent the department at internal and external events and train staff on policies.
• Administer CORE field placement software and Canvas for proposals tracking.
• Communicate with Registrar, Contracts, Career Center, and University Events.
• Support Field Coordinators and Directors with other duties.
