J.S. Held LLC is seeking an entry to mid-level Forensic Civil/Structural Engineer (PE or SE) to support our US projects. Responsibilities include field observations, reporting, client presentations, and occasional business development. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited school
• PE or SE license required or in process
• Entry to mid-level experience (0–5 years) in forensic engineering
• Willingness to climb roofs and travel to project sites

Responsibilities

• Conducts field observations, testing and data collection.
• Prepares technical reports detailing observations, testing results, and recommendations.
• Meets with peers and clients to present findings.
• Engages in client-relations and business development/marketing.
