Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Field Technician to support drilling crews on environmental, geotechnical, construction, and remediation projects. You will help with site setup, equipment maintenance, sample collection, and general labor while learning drilling techniques and field operations.

The role requires lifting 50+ pounds, a valid driver's license, and a strong work ethic. You will travel to project sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with accommodation provided

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds.
• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist drillers with mobilization, setup, and operation of drilling equipment.
• Load, unload, and maintain drilling tools, rods, casing, and support equipment.
• Collect soil, groundwater, and rock samples according to project requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work site.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Complete field documentation and support project teams as needed.
• Travel to project sites and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
