Responsibilities

• Operate drills to tap water and salt deposits and remove core samples.
• Drive equipment into position and level rigs.
• Regulate air pressure and rotary speed during drilling.
• Inspect cores to determine strata nature and send samples for analysis.
• Monitor drilling conditions by checking gauges and equipment.
• Withdraw drill rods from holes and extract core samples.
• Select and attach drill bits and add rods as needed.
