Job summary

GHD invites applications for an Environmental and Geotechnical Driller to join our growing team serving the Great Lakes region. This role focuses on environmental and geotechnical drilling, including monitor wells, gas probes, and in-situ injections, with travel across sites as needed.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of field drilling experience, are comfortable outdoors, and hold a Michigan driller license or equivalent; CDL with Chauffeur endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years drilling experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Mechanical aptitude
• Familiar with Geoprobe 6600/7800 series track rigs
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Willing to travel overnight with travel expenses covered
• CDL with Chauffeur’s endorsement
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Michigan driller license a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform drilling operations including environmental and geotechnical work
• Install monitor wells and gas probes; conduct in-situ injections
• Contribute to project goals on environmental and geotechnical sites
