Job summary

UCC Environmental is seeking a District Sales Engineer to provide onsite sales representation and technical support for contract and replacement parts sales. You will develop new mining customer relationships, coordinate with engineering and sales teams, and drive profitability within your district.

The role requires strong communication, ability to travel over 70% of the time, and a background in mining or environmental process industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Formal sales training certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of technical sales or project engineering experience.
• Experience in Mining, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Steel, Petrochemical or similar heavy industrial markets preferred.
• Active MSHA certification preferred.
• Must be able to travel >70% of the time within the district territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite sales representation and customer service for contract and replacement parts sales.
• Develop new Mining customer relationships and opportunities while coordinating ongoing sales and technical support for Power Generation accounts.
• Direct field sales activity to ensure profitability and achieve defined sales goals.
• Travel to customer sites 3–4 days per week as opportunities dictate.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Contract Engineering, Sales Management, and Accounting departments.
