Staples is seeking a District Manager to lead General Managers across the district, driving sales, service and operations. You will spend 70% in-store, building strong community relationships and a high‑performing team to deliver a superior customer experience.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years progressively responsible management and multi-unit experience in a high-volume retail environment.
• Proven track record of increasing sales and store profitability; ability to analyze P&L and financial reports.
• Strong skills in management strategy, staffing performance management, associate relations and associate development.
• Leadership and partnership that will inspire associate engagement and customer loyalty in the communities served.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales, and team development.
• Deliver profitable growth of sales and services within the district; plan, develop, execute and monitor store business plans.
• Create a district-wide culture where all associates are engaged, trained and empowered to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Attract and retain a high performing team; support General Managers in talent strategies and staffing.
