Job summary

Transource Truck & Equipment Inc. is expanding and seeks skilled Truck Technicians to inspect, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles in Casper, WY. Responsibilities include diagnostics, maintenance, and field service calls to keep fleets safe and productive.

The role emphasizes diagnosing diesel systems, electrical networks, HVAC and emissions controls, with opportunities for OEM training and advancement within a growing dealership network.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience as a truck technician, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment technician.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, transmissions, steering and suspension, HVAC, hydraulic systems, and aftertreatment/emissions systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Computer, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, steering and suspension, driveline components, HVAC systems, and emissions systems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and more complex repairs to ensure safe and reliable vehicle operation.
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues reported by drivers or customers and provide effective repair solutions.
