Job summary

TranSource Truck & Equipment, Inc. is seeking skilled Truck Technicians to service heavy‑duty trucks and commercial vehicles. You will perform inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while traveling to client sites as needed.

Candidates should have a two‑year technical degree or equivalent experience, strong diagnostics skills, and knowledge of diesel and emission systems. We offer competitive pay, full benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent diesel/heavy equipment experience.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical and emissions systems, HVAC, hydraulic systems.
• Experience with Mack/Volvo a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy‑duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, air brake systems, steering and suspension, driveline components, HVAC systems, and emissions systems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and more complex repairs to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues reported by drivers or customers and provide repair solutions.
• Utilize diagnostic software, OEM service information, and electronic testing equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer needs to ensure value for work performed.
• Communicate job progress to supervisors and customers as needed.
• Complete service reports, order parts, and maintain accurate repair records.
• Field technicians will be going out on service calls.
