Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision.
• Clean driving record.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50% or more work offsite/in the field.
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours.
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Perform accurate diagnosis, repair, and reconditioning of machine systems and components; provide field service as directed, including potential weekend/after-hours calls.
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings, repair needs, and timelines; complete work orders and service documentation.
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Pursue ongoing training to maintain current knowledge; recommend maintenance or upgrades that add value.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations while performing work.
