United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III - Field Service) to maintain and repair complex rental equipment across customer sites. You will work on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems with a focus on safety and professionalism.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on repair experience, a valid driver's license, and owning necessary tools. This position offers opportunities for advancement within the Service Department and strong customer service

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 3-5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background knowledge of engines.
• Must own tools applicable to position.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems).
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work orders daily.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
