Job summary

StormWater Pros, LLC is seeking an experienced diesel mechanic to join our field operations in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on diagnostics, hydraulics, and field repair of heavy equipment and fleet trucks, with a strong emphasis on safe, reliable performance.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems, perform routine maintenance, and work as part of a team to support projects with property managers and municipalities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Background check and drug test required.
• 5+ years of automotive and diesel repair with verifiable certifications.
• CDL a is a plus but not required.
• Heavy equipment/hydraulics experience preferred.
• Hydrovac truck experience is a plus.
• Must have a complete mechanic's tool set.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work evenings and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fleet vehicles and heavy equipment for issues, safety concerns, or wear.
• Diagnose problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions and electrical systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to assess performance and identify issues.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Replace worn or damaged parts to keep vehicles and equipment in safe working order.
