Job summary

Devall Diesel Services is seeking a Certified Industrial Diesel & Generator Technician to support our Houston-area operations. You will diagnose, repair, and service marine diesel engines and generator systems in field settings, using a company service truck and OEM-certified expertise.

The role requires OEM certifications (Cummins, John Deere, Kohler or equivalent) and the ability to work independently, with overtime and on-call rotations. Candidates must pass screenings and background checks.

Qualifications

• OEM Certification (Cummins, John Deere, Kohler, or equivalent) is required.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Must pass DOT drug screening, DOT physical, and extensive background check.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair marine diesel engines and generator systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service.
• Complete OEM warranty and service documentation.
• Respond to service calls throughout Houston and Gulf Coast region.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and manage tools.
