Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Mobile Diesel Equipment Technician to support on-site service across the territory. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment at customer locations, farms, and dealer sites using a company-provided service truck.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong problem-solving, and customer service. You will tackle a range of equipment and participate in ongoing training while earning competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing compact tractors and lawn equipment.
• Diesel-powered equipment experience with field service.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout assigned territory in a company-provided service truck.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and warranty repairs.
• Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, steering, drivetrain, and mechanical systems.
• Use diagnostic software, scan tools, multimeters, service manuals, and schematics to identify failures.
• Complete electronic work orders, warranty documentation, and parts ordering.
• Maintain service truck inventory and safely transport customer equipment.
• Communicate repair recommendations and maintenance tips with customers.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical training.
