Job summary

Power Plus in Corona, CA seeks an experienced Class A CDL driver to stage, deploy and maintain mobile operation centers from a local shop. This role requires overnight travel, with regular commuting to the shop and occasional disaster deployments.

Responsibilities include driving, towing or hauling customer-owned equipment, performing maintenance on site, and coordinating with remote nationwide support. A minimum of 5 years driving experience and OSHA-aware operation are required.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Class A commercial driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience, including towing/hauling of equipment.
• Experience in trailer weight distribution, securing loads and use of tie-downs.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Must be available and willing to work various shifts; weekends, holidays and on-call rotations.
• Out-of-town overnight travel required for deployments. Extended overnight stays are required during disaster recovery events or site requirements.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical theory and application is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, and other vendors professionally.

SUMMARY

The primary duties and responsibilities of this position are staging, deployment, maintenance, tear down and retrieval of customer-owned mobile operation centers. This position does require some overnight travel but would be commuting to our local shop on a regular basis. If you have your Class A CDL but want to work out of a local shop a portion of your schedule, then this position is perfect for you. We can train on the understanding of mechanical/electrical applications, however, a basic understanding is a plus.
