Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Software Engineer for the Mission Systems Deployment & Infrastructure team. You will own the full delivery chain from code commit to running on a vehicle in the field, including CI/CD pipelines, SITL environments, and on-vehicle Kubernetes infrastructure in non-standard network environments.

Required: BS/MS/PhD in CS/SE/Math/Physics, 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines, Linux-based development (C++, Rust, Python, Go), deep Kubernetes experience, Git/GitHub

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure in a production environment.
• Production-grade software development experience (C++, Rust, Python, Go, or equivalent) in a Linux environment.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration, including deploying and managing services in constrained or non-standard network environments.
• Comfort navigating complex, multi-stage delivery pipelines and diagnosing failures across build, test, and deployment stages.
• Experience with Git & GitHub, including branching/release strategies for shipping software to production.
• Travel up to 30% of time to build, test, and deploy capabilities in the real world.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the full delivery chain from build to test to field deployment.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure for on-vehicle software.
• Operate Kubernetes infrastructure in constrained or air-gapped environments.
• Diagnose failures across build, test, and deployment stages and optimize delivery.
