Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field required.
• No work experience required.
• Knowledge of piezoelectric and Weigh-In-Motion sensors.
• Electrical engineering and electronics knowledge.
• Machine Learning and AI algorithms programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Fieldwork travels and data collection (33%).
• Equipment installation in the field, sensor setup, site checks, and removal (30%).
• Assist design, planning, scheduling, and coordinating lab/field experimental work (7%).
• Program coding and software development for data processing and QC checks (5%).
• Data analysis, reporting, and documentation (10%).
• Maintenance and management of equipment and student labs (5%).
• Computational modeling and finite element analysis (5%).
• Lab testing and measurements as needed (3%).
• Assist junior staff and other researchers (1%).
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior researchers (1%).
