Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks Infra Delivery Install Technicians to move and install large enterprise equipment and cabling across AWS data centers. You will install fiber and copper cabling, patch between devices, and ensure safety standards are followed. Travel to various sites is required and relocation stipends may apply.

This role supports a 24/7 data center environment with hands-on hardware work, collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep infrastructure running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
• 18+ months in data center or critical environments.
• Experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR).

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment.
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patching between equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and break-fix activities.
• Safely use material handling tools and equipment.
• Travel within and outside the regional work area is required.
