Qualifications

• Strong cyber security background with hands-on security testing/incident response experience.
• Proficiency in software development or tool creation (Python, C++, Go) including automation.
• Experience in forward-deployed or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to solve complex problems in fast-moving field settings.
• Strong communication across cross-functional teams.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, including extended stays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite security liaison between customer operations and Persistent Systems engineering.
• Develop and maintain security-focused tools and automation for fielded systems.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and R&D to translate customer challenges into development work.
• Perform security assessments of systems, architectures, and networks with actionable recommendations.
• Support deployment, integration, and troubleshooting of secure systems at client sites.
• Translate complex tech concepts into clear guidance for users and leadership.
