Job summary

Sigma Computing is seeking a technically skilled Support Engineering Manager in San Francisco to lead a high-energy team focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will hire, mentor, and guide engineers while driving cross-functional initiatives to improve CSAT, response times, and SLAs.

In this role you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Design, Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing, shaping processes for growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related technical field.
• 5+ years of industry experience supporting data platforms in an enterprise environment; 2+ years in people management.
• Strong CS fundamentals; databases and business intelligence expertise.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Become a product expert and Sigma product advocate.
• Lead a team of support engineers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Hire, develop, and train a strong team on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Product, CS, Sales, and Marketing to ensure great customer outcomes.
• Manage metrics: CSAT, Initial Response, SLA, Time to Resolution.
