Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Field CTO specializing in Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) to guide enterprise data strategy for strategic customers in an AI-driven world.

The role requires engaging with CIOs, CDOs, and senior leaders to shape governance, data quality, and metadata frameworks across complex hybrid environments, while aligning with Salesforce, Informatica, and Data Cloud strategies.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise data architecture, Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, metadata, or closely related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of enterprise MDM patterns across multiple domains.
• Strong governance operating models, stewardship, lineage, and data quality controls.
• Experience advising executives while remaining credible with technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technology advisor to strategic customers on Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, and metadata management.
• Engage with C-level and senior leaders to define data strategies aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Help customers establish modern governance architectures balancing standards with decentralized units and multi-cloud estates.
• Lead executive briefings, architecture workshops, and high-value customer engagements.
• Partner with Salesforce and Informatica product teams to influence roadmap priorities.
