Job summary

Google Public Sector is seeking a Field CTO Office leader to drive high-stakes customer engagements, delivering deep Google Cloud Platform and AI strategy for government and education customers. You will articulate technical solutions to executive audiences and help shape initiatives across Gemini, Threat Management for Governments, and related programs.

Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders, presenting market insights, and mentoring GPS teams while traveling to key customer sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of enterprise architecture or equivalent customer-facing experience.
• Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
• Experience with modern AI paradigms, generative AI, and data technologies, including reviewing technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-stakes executive meetings requiring deep technical understanding.
• Collaborate with Product Areas and customers to co-design solutions.
• Mentor GPS Customer Engineering and elevate the team through knowledge sharing.
• Travel to customer sites and events as required (average ~50%).
