Job summary

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company is seeking a full‑time Crop Adjuster in East Central Nebraska. You will perform field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields, and discuss crop loss findings with producers to support farmers nationwide.

Travel is required to succeed in this role; a valid driver’s license and vehicle are needed. The position offers competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–5 years of crop insurance adjusting experience or agriculture background preferred.
• Proficiency with computer basics and MS Office products.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Understand and process claims for major crops and policy types across growth stages.
• Clearly communicate regulations and interpretations to producers, agents, and staff.
• Stay current with RMA requirements and maintain CAPP certification if MPCI claims.
• Maintain a State Adjuster License where required.
