Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Field Crew Supervisor to lead the Engineering and Operations Field Crew for our multi-venue facilities in New Orleans. The role reports to the Manager of Engineering & Operations and supports event setup, conversion, and daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of general labor and facility operations experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of mechanical functions required.
• Previous facility operations experience is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of the Superdome layout, capabilities, and limitations.
• Thorough knowledge of equipment inventory (tables, chairs, staging, etc.).
• Ability to interpret written instructions for event setup.
• Ability to communicate with Event Coordinator and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to operate equipment and provide manual assistance when needed.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties related to physical conversion/setup of the facility per lease requirements.
• Perform general physical labor (tables, chairs, staging, painting, etc.).
• Repair/maintain equipment and machinery.
• Determine efficient labor utilization for tasks.
• Assist during events with necessary physical support and back up.
• Maintain organization of warehouse and update inventory counts.
• Oversee day-to-day work of Field Crewmen and ensure completion to standard.
• Oversee all conversions for all buildings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Regional Director of Finance for multi-venue facility management and hospitality operations for Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square | Shrine on Airline. This role offers visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to impact financial performance across some of the most iconic venues in sports and entertainment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assign duties connected with physical conversion/setup of the facility in accordance with lease requirements
• General physical labor performance, i.e., setting and picking up tables and chairs, carrying, lifting, and assembling furniture and fixtures, including staging, painting the field, installing basketball courts, etc.
• Repair/maintain equipment and machinery
• Determines the most efficient and economical means of labor utilization to carry out assigned tasks
• Works during events and responds as needed to both scheduled and unforeseen physical modifications required for said event
• Assists in providing necessary physical support and back up in satisfying pre, during, and post-event requirements
• Maintain organization of all warehouse and keep an updated, to date, count of all inventory
• Oversee operations of day to day work of Field Crewmen and ensure all work has been completed at a satisfactory level
• Oversee all conversions for all buildings
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years general laborers experience required
• Previous facility operations experience required
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred
• Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
