Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Field Credit Officer to onboard and manage businesses accessing our credit products across multiple Nigerian states. This onsite role demands strong field presence, rigorous assessment, and proactive engagement with clients to grow the loan book while ensuring profitability.

You will evaluate applications using the 5 Cs, monitor performance, and present recommendations to management before and after disbursement, with a focus on timely repayments and risk control.

Qualifications

• Onboarding and evaluating potential borrowers for credit products.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk concepts and financial analysis is a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients across regions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard viable businesses within assigned geographic area.
• Engage customers to maximize account usage and credit access.
• Review and approve or decline loan requests based on data analysis.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess business records and inventory.
• Meet loan portfolio and profitability targets while maintaining quality.
• Monitor active loans to ensure repayment performance.
• Perform other credit-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
