Wolter, Inc. is seeking a Crane Service Technician for our Dayton Service Dept in Huber Heights, OH. The role involves diagnosing and repairing cranes and hoists at customer sites, with a company vehicle, iPad, and communications tools provided.

Essential duties include on-site electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, safety compliance, and documenting service work. A valid driver’s license and MHE certification are required; strong customer focus and safety adherence are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose and repair cranes and hoists on customer premises.
• Must complete required training courses.
• Strong customer orientation and communication skills.
• Must be a good written and verbal communicator.
• Comfortable working in elevated locations.

Responsibilities

• Complete all service jobs assigned.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural issues on site.
• Update customer bearings and gearbox systems.
• Discuss repair recommendations with customers to improve handling needs.
• Attend training classes to stay current on products.
