Job summary

Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician/Courier to support lab operations by picking up and delivering samples to designated locations in a timely, safe manner.

You will drive company vehicles, document pickups, and store samples according to SOPs to preserve integrity during transport. Under the Field Service Manager, you will follow SOPs, ensure chain-of-custody, maintain logs, and communicate schedules and client requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years of age or older at start date.
• Clean driving record over last 36 months.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle to collect samples from client locations and deliver to the lab.
• Document pickups and storage of samples per SOPs to preserve integrity.
• Maintain logs and ensure accurate chain-of-custody documentation.
• Communicate schedules, requirements, and issues with internal management.
• Follow all traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
• Assist with sample preparation, labeling, and basic instrumentation setup as needed.
