Project Overview

We are looking for top talent to join the Renewables & Clean Power business to deliver the largest natural gas projects in the company’s history. This project is a nominal 2500MW “behind the meter” power complex that will provide electrical power directly to an adjoining data center complex and will be designed for an optional grid interconnection in the future. Bechtel is currently supporting our customer to define the behind-the-meter scope and design basis for the project which will utilize multiple technologies, including Solar T350 Turbines, BESS, temporary load banks, an AIS substation/microgrid and GEV 7HA.02 combustion turbines to deliver reliable and responsive electric power generation. The delivery of each of these asset classes are projects in and of themselves, so the project will be structured accordingly with a project manager over each tranche of power asset class delivery. The project will be located 30 miles southeast of Pecos, TX, 80 miles west to southwest of Midland, TX.

Draft project assignment conditions are available and are meant to offer flexibility to allow the various needs of our top talent to participate in this revolutionary project.
