Job summary

CP4 Inc. in Spring, TX is seeking a Junior Field Corrosion Technician / Labourer to support field-based activities related to cathodic protection testing, surveys, field inspections, and basic system maintenance. The role is heavily field-based, with travel and outdoor work at industrial sites.

Under supervision, you will collect accurate data, operate testing equipment, and contribute to client reports while developing hands-on corrosion control skills and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical assets preferred
• Technical diploma in Engineering/Environmental Services is an asset
• Associates in Corrosion Technology preferred
• AMPP CP1 and CP Tester certifications preferred
• 1 year experience in corrosion control or related field is an asset
• CDL with clean Abstract is an asset
• OSHA, First Aid, H2S, WHMIS, PST certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing and installation of cathodic protection systems
• Support field inspections and surveys
• Follow instructions from senior staff using drawings and specs
• Collect field data and measurements
• Sketch components on drawings and summarize data
• Assist in preparing survey notes and final client reports
• Maintain testing equipment and assist with minor repairs
• Travel to customer sites and work in outdoor industrial environments
