Job summary

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor performance, prepare shipping paperwork for hazardous waste, and conduct site inspections.
• Maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and strong customer service.
• Coordinate subcontractor performance as needed.
• Apply RCRA, DOT, and EPA rules for hazardous waste management.
• Prepare and verify shipping paperwork for hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Perform site inspections and audits.
• Consolidate non-hazardous and class 2 waste for roll-off.
• Coordinate samples and profiles for TSDF submission.
• Coordinate expired profile program.
• Follow company policies and guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as required.

This role involves coordinating subcontractor performance, preparing shipping paperwork for hazardous waste, and conducting site inspections. The position emphasizes safety, adherence to regulations, and customer service, contributing to the company's mission of providing sustainable solutions. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Field Coordinator as a Waste Technician for customer-site work, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
• This role involves coordinating subcontractor performance, preparing shipping paperwork for hazardous waste, and conducting site inspections
• The position emphasizes safety, adherence to regulations, and customer service, contributing to the company's mission of providing sustainable solutions
• Act as Waste Technician for customer-site work
• Coordinate performance of subcontractors as needed
• Understand and apply RCRA, DOT, and EPA regulations for hazardous waste management
• Prepare and confirm accuracy of paperwork associated with shipping hazardous and non-hazardous waste
• Complete site inspections and audits
• Consolidate non-hazardous and class 2 waste for roll-off
• Pull and arrange for samples and profiles to be submitted to TSDF
• Coordinate expired profile program
• Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines
• Perform all other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
• Intermediate level understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to classify waste according to RCRA, EPA, and DOT regulations
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and waste
• Customer service skills

Preferred

• 2+ years’ experience in an industrial facility or environmental role

• Working knowledge of DOT Title 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Transportation, RCRA Title 40, TCEQ 30 TAC 335, waste profiling.

• HAZWOPER and/or Safety Council certifications
• TWIC Card
