Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in Denver, CO is seeking a Field Coordinator to support and coordinate the construction of water, wastewater, and conveyance infrastructure projects. The role involves field management, coordination, and inspection with 1–3 years of relevant experience; a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field is preferred (PE/ CCM/ CMIT / EIT a plus).

Travel within the area may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field (experience can be considered in lieu of degree).
• Minimum of 1–3 years relevant construction management/inspection or design experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Good verbal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ability to learn PROCORE, Bluebeam, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpretation of project specifications and drawings.
• Providing document control.
• Assist in processing RFIs, submittals and shop drawings prepared by Contractor.
• Assist in preparing weekly project meeting agendas and documenting meetings.
• Coordinate communication between contractor, design engineer, stakeholders, and owner.
• Perform field inspections for compliance with Contract Documents.
• Prepare sketches and assemble data for Engineer use.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on contractor progress.
• Use cloud-based project documentation such as PROCORE.
• Other construction management activities as needed.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $110,000.00 Annually

We are seeking a Field Coordinator r to support and help coordinate the construction of various Water, Wastewater, and Conveyance infrastructure projects. The Field Coordinator will support the construction management, coordination, and inspection of various water/wastewater facilities. One (1) to five (3) years of experience in a field construction capacity, preferably in the water/wastewater industry is desired. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field and PE, CCM, CMIT or EIT certification preferred. Experience in Public Agency Construction contracts a plus. Travel within the area may be required.

Duties and responsibilities may include the following:

• Review and interpretation of project specifications and drawings.
• Providing Document Control.
• Assisting in the processing and review of RFI’s, Submittals and Shop Drawings prepared by Contractor.
