Job summary

Handling Systems & Conveyors in Alabama seeks an experienced Conveyor Technician for field service in Troy and surrounding areas. You will inspect, troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems, interfacing with customers and internal teams to communicate repairs and upgrades.

Candidates should understand PLC operation and ladder logic (no programming), pass pre-employment tests, and be willing to travel, work overtime, and lift heavy loads as required.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
• Strong PLC understanding with ladder logic (no programming).
• Able to travel to customer sites and work overtime as needed.
• Pass drug/alcohol test and extensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on conveyors and related equipment.
• Interface with customer and service teams to communicate repairs and upgrades.
• Inspect and evaluate repairs per industry guidelines (OSHA, CMMA, NEC, ANSI).
• Maintains professional rapport with customers and responds to breakdowns promptly.
• Communicate repairs and recommend preventive maintenance when required.
