Job summary

Hanley Energy is seeking a Field Controls Technician for new construction projects at customer sites. You will install, test, and commission control systems while ensuring 100% uptime for mission-critical data centers.

The role involves integrating ProCore-based systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA, with hands-on troubleshooting and knowledge sharing within a dynamic team. Based at our US HQ in Ashburn, VA, travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a technical field; data center exposure preferred.
• STEM training is a plus; military/trade school acceptable.
• Experience with PLC programming, HMIs, and SCADA.
• Knowledge of electrical drawings and wiring diagrams is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, checkout, integrate, test and commission field control systems at new construction sites.
• Support integration of automated client systems to reduce energy costs and ensure uptime.
• Troubleshoot and train teammates; document procedures and diagrams.
