Long established, internationally respected, high-technology company that specializes in the automation and upgrading of production machines and control systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person selected for this position will perform field troubleshooting, including programming, of control systems consisting of PLCs/HMIs/Motor Drives, as well as start-ups and upgrades.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Control system troubleshooting
• PLC/HMI/Drive programming: all major brands.
• Travel to customers and vendors
• Interact with customers and vendors
• Be extremely flexible and adaptable to changing requirements
  
  

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience doing electrical controls troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment. Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or significant experience with knowledge of programmable logic controllers, HMIs, motor drives and electric control systems. Must also have the skill to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and written, with all appropriate parties. Must be highly organized, creative, thorough, detail oriented, and quality conscious.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks and produce work in an expedient and accurate manner.
