Job summary

Atlas Field Services is hiring for Consulting Utility Arborists/Utility Arborists for Work Planning to join our team in the Nashville, Tennessee area. This full-time role focuses on field vegetation management, coordination with landowners, and contractor oversight to ensure safe, compliant work in right-of-ways.

You will inspect sites, prepare maps, research easements, and assist in storm restoration operations while maintaining strong customer service and communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Forestry or Environmental Science preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist designation desired, not required.
• CTSP certification a plus, not required.
• Must possess tree identification skills and the ability to read maps.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Inspect right-of-ways to assess vegetation conditions and determine maintenance needs.
• Assist with bid package maps and work manifests.
• Research easements, land rights, and rights-of-way.
• Meet with landowners to explain vegetation management work.
• Mark work in the field as required.
• Respond to public concerns and questions about the work.
• Assist in developing public relations materials.
• Ensure contractor compliance with specifications and assist in storm restoration operations.
