Job summary

Tuff Shed is seeking a Field Construction Technician - DOT to join our team and provide high-quality installation, delivery, and warranty service for our storage buildings. You will operate in a field role delivering to Home Depot stores, customers’ properties, and sales lots, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will inspect DOT vehicle readiness, log hours, and communicate effectively with customers and management. A valid license and ability to meet DOT requirements are required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the construction industry and basic carpentry skills.
• Ability to read tape measure, working drawings, and speed square.
• Ability to operate basic power tools and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivers Tuff Shed storage buildings to Home Depot stores, customer properties, and retail sales lots.
• Performs warranty repair tasks on customer sites with courtesy and within scheduled timeframe.
• Provides feedback to management on warranty issues and eligibility.
