Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years’ experience in construction operations, construction inspection, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Knowledge of city/state/federal construction codes and specs.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, specs and plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities for in-house construction personnel and direct work.
• Manage personnel actions and cross-training initiatives for staff.
• Plan, schedule, and price projects with field supervisors to meet quality and budget goals.
• Develop project timelines, milestones, and costs to ensure on-time completion.
• Track equipment, labor, and materials for various projects and activities.
• Collaborate with other divisions to maximize pavement life and assess assets.
• Oversee contractor work sites and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Visit work sites to evaluate progress, quality, safety, and compliance with city standards.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities and project admin.
• Support division operations and safety initiatives.
