Job summary

Medcor Safety, a subsidiary of Medcor, is seeking a Construction Safety Professional for a short-term assignment in Marina del Rey, CA. You will conduct site safety audits, work with field personnel, and help maintain compliance with project and regulatory safety requirements on a new construction electrical project.

The role emphasizes field presence, hazard identification, and rapid corrective actions, with a 2-month duration and local candidates only. Per diem is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel and management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite and crew safety audits to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Work with field personnel and management to address safety concerns and corrective actions.
• Promote and reinforce safe work practices on the project.
• Document findings from site safety audits and maintain records.
• Audit training records for field personnel.
• Support compliance with federal, state, local safety requirements.
• Review accident briefs, safety publications, bulletins, and reports.
• Assist in developing Site-Specific Safety Plans.
• Participate in kickoff and ongoing safety meetings.
• Review client and owner safety requirements for project compliance.
• Build positive relationships with field personnel, management and outside agencies.
