Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Lenexa, KS is offering a hands-on Construction Management internship during the summer. You will participate in key roles across construction management with opportunities for learning and travel across North America.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a civil engineering or construction management degree, are willing to travel/relocate as needed, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related.
• Ability to travel or relocate as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project management teams and engineers/clients.
• Examine and inspect field conditions and identify problems, cost-saving measures, and take corrective action.
• Identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions to eliminate or minimize them.
• Maintain knowledge of quality management system and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification log and files for assigned districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
