Job summary

Posillico Civil, Inc. in Mount Pleasant, NY is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager by tracking and maintaining submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will manage safety communications, logs and records, prepare weekly toolbox talks, maintain daily, shop drawing and subcontractor logs, review invoices, track look-ahead schedules and assist in purchasing materials, all on a fast-paced heavy construction

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience in Heavy Construction (site-work, roads or environmental).
• Must be capable of meeting deadlines, self-motivated, detail oriented, and have excellent follow-through.
• Weekend/Nighttime work as required by the project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site.
• Maintain safety communications, manuals and records.
• Prepare and give weekly Toolbox Talks and Daily Safety Huddles.
• Maintain logs: Submittal, Shop Drawing, Daily Log, and Delivery Log.
• Review and process subcontractor invoices and progress estimates.
• Develop and update look-ahead schedules.
• Review project plans and assist in ensuring work is completed properly.
