Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in Gary, IN seeks a Superintendent to lead daily field operations on construction projects across North America. You will ensure on-schedule delivery, manage field staff, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Required are 1–5 years supervisory construction experience, strong communication and planning skills, and the ability to coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors. This site-based role travels to multiple Ledcor project sites and offices.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of construction supervision or lead hand experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, building codes, and established quality standards including oversight of PQP requirements and testing
• Champion site safety by enforcing corporate and regulatory standards, leading safety meetings, and supporting development of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP)
• Monitor short-term schedules, estimate activity durations and material needs, and track progress to meet project milestones and completion dates
• Direct field staff and coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources to achieve project goals related to safety, schedule, and quality
• Supervise craft workers and subcontractors, providing guidance and maintaining accountability for performance and site expectations
• Manage procurement tasks such as preparing purchase requisitions and reviewing supplier and subcontractor invoices
