Job summary

Kent Homes, a second‑generation, female‑owned luxury home builder serving Southeast North Carolina, is hiring a dependable Construction Laborer to support our production team on active residential construction job sites in Wilmington, NC.

This hands‑on field role keeps job sites clean, organized, safe, and ready for the next phase of construction, with tools provided, a monthly vehicle stipend, and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Construction experience or trade experience preferred.
• Residential construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• Reliable personal transportation required.
• Must transport cleanup tools between jobs.
• Truck preferred but not required.
• Able to work on active construction sites in varying weather.
• Able to lift/move construction materials and cleanup tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction cleanup on assigned job sites throughout Wilmington and Southeast North Carolina.
• Keep active job sites clean, safe, organized, and professional.
• Remove trash, debris, and construction waste as needed.
• Help prepare job sites for trade work, inspections, and milestones.
• Support Project Managers, trade partners, and internal team members with field tasks.
• Move, organize, and stage materials when needed.
• Maintain and transfer cleanup tools between jobs.
• Protect jobsite presentation and customer-facing appearance.
• Follow Kent Homes' safety standards and procedures.
• Communicate jobsite needs or concerns to Project Managers.
