Subsurface Construction Company, LLC is hiring a Field Laborer in Greenville, SC. This full-time, hourly position supports excavation and concrete operations, installs reinforcing materials, and assists in grouting and wall installations.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, operate basic equipment, and travel as needed. Candidates must be physically capable, have a valid driver's license, pass background checks, and understand safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically strenuous work in all weather conditions.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass background check and Worksteps Evaluation.
• OSHA 10 ETD and First Aid/CPR preferred.
• English proficiency required to understand safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety policies and practices.
• Installs steel reinforcing materials for concrete construction.
• Moves soil materials with hand tools and equipment when trained.
• Sets up grouting and concrete operation (equipment, plumbing, staging materials).
• Supports concrete installation by setting up hoses, finishing, and cleanup.
• Supports and batches cement grout with cement mixer.
• Installs grout within drilled holes by using pipes plumbed from grout mixer.
• Installs steel beams and concrete in drilled shafts.
• Installs lumber against soil for retaining wall face.
• Supports drilling operations by maneuvering drill tooling and moving hoses.
• Installs ground anchors by inserting rebar in drilled holes.
• Uses hand tools to install wall facings.
• Demolition work with saws and hammers.
• Installs steel brackets to concrete using hand tools.
• Load/unload materials onto truck using forklifts when trained.
• Operate, clean and maintain equipment when trained.
• Safeguards company equipment, tools and vehicles.
• Ensure timely and regular attendance.
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of employment.
