Job summary

Fabcon in Savage, MN is seeking a W2E Field Laborer to perform general construction tasks on renovation, maintenance, repair, and restoration projects. You will work under the W2E Field Foreperson and take direction from the erection crew foreperson or bricklayer, ensuring efficient, safe progress at sites.

This role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to travel 50%+ with overnight stays, experience with concrete or masonry, and the capacity to work from heights.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
• Experience working with concrete or masonry construction.
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions.
• Ability to work from heights, including ladders and aerial platforms.
• Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed.
• General knowledge of construction practices.
• Ability to obtain membership to a local union.

Responsibilities

• Completes general construction labor tasks necessary for completion of W2E projects
• Takes work direction from erection crew foreperson or bricklayer
• May perform work of a miscellaneous nature as directed by foreperson
• Uses materials/supplies in an efficient manner
• Handles equipment in a responsible manner
• Follows established safety procedures and policies
