RK&K is hiring entry to mid-level Construction Inspectors to support VDOT Staunton District and localities in the Lexington, Staunton, and Winchester areas. You will inspect roadway and structure work, monitor contractor activities, and ensure compliance with plans and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to compute basic algebra and geometry.
• Capable of working independently on small construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management support and inspect roadway and structure work for compliance.
• Monitor contractor activities and document non-compliant work elements.
• Review lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using survey equipment.
