This entry-level position involves reviewing drawings, documenting construction activities, conducting field measurements, and ensuring compliance with traffic control and erosion devices. A High School diploma or relevant experience is required, and previous construction inspection experience is preferred. Qualifications

• High School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma.
• Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects is preferred.
• Willing to complete PennDOT (12) web-based TCI training modules preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings to prepare for the inspection.
• Inspect and document construction activities on major transportation projects.
• Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
• Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
• Inspect erosion control devices and ensure compliance with permits.
• Monitor and record materials certifications.
