A High School diploma or relevant experience is required, and previous construction inspection experience is preferred. Qualifications
High School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma.
Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects is preferred.
Willing to complete PennDOT (12) web-based TCI training modules preferred.
Responsibilities
Review drawings to prepare for the inspection.
Inspect and document construction activities on major transportation projects.
Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation.
Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup.
Inspect erosion control devices and ensure compliance with permits.
Monitor and record materials certifications.
