Job summary

Consor seeks a construction inspector to monitor on-site activities, inspect materials, and verify work against plans and contract documents for excavations, drainage facilities, roads, and structures.

You will document daily production rates, coordinate with the superintendent and agency personnel, and support final estimate documentation. The role reports to the Project Manager and requires field presence in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of construction inspection experience is required.
• DOT Certifications in one or more areas are required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Field job operates in outdoor environments with exposure to weather and hazards.
• Physical demands may include lifting up to 35 lbs and various movements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work to ensure compliance with schedules and contract documents.
• Perform complex measurements and calculations for completed work.
• Maintain daily inspector reports of activities, labor, equipment, and material quantities.
• Conduct on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required.
