Job summary
Pinnacle Specialty Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Discipline Engineer (Field Engineer) to oversee field construction activities, conduct constructability reviews, and verify designs meet code requirements.
You will coordinate with design engineers, inspect materials, and support procurement, turnover, and start-up as needed. The role requires strong knowledge of construction engineering principles, experience with work execution planning and hazard analyses, and the ability to coordinate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of practical experience in construction field engineering
- Associate's degree in engineering with 5–10 years of practical experience in construction engineering
- High school diploma with 10+ years of practical experience in construction engineering
- Working knowledge of discipline specific codes and standards
- Experience with generating work execution plans (preferably Asset Suite)
- Experience with hazard analyses
- Experience with material take-off and procurement
- Discipline: Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Civil, Instruments and Controls
Responsibilities
- Review design output for constructability and code compliance
- Field walk-downs with design engineers and verification of constructability
- Coordinate material delivery and procurement support
- Develop installation sequences and work execution plans
- Generate and review permits and hazard analyses
- Lead pre-job briefings and field execution activities
- Close work execution plans and related documentation
- Provide field inspection and support for turnover and start-up activities
